THE HEALING OF HEARTS

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

• Worship and thank Jesus, for a broken and contrite heart He does not despise • Repent for having personally participated in or condoned the practice of abortion in

any way–through speech or silence, action or passivity • Apply the blood of Jesus over our bloodguilt, declaring that Jesus’ blood speaks a

better word–that of mercy and forgiveness! • Ask God to heal the wounds of those who’ve been hurt by the injustice of abortion

WORSHIP and THANK JESUS

• For His blood poured out in covenant love to forgive our sins (Mat 26:28) • For His ceaseless compassion and His tender mercies that are renewed every day

(Lam 3:22-23; Psalm 30:2-3) • For a broken and contrite heart He does not despise (Psa 51:17)

REPENT

• Repent for having personally participated in or condoned the practice of abortion in any way–through speech or silence, action or passivity (Psa 51)

• Includesthosewho’vehadabortions,coercedorencouragedsomeoneinto having one, paid for one, performed one, etc.

• Repent for the consequence of my sin–opening the door to the spirit of death in my nation, in my own life, and in future generations. (Exo 34:7; Eze 35:6; Num 33:35-36)

• Receive God’s forgiveness and thank Him for wiping away the stain of sin and removing our reproach (Rom 5:9; Eph 1:7; Heb 8:12; Isa 53:4-5)

• Forgive the hurt done to you and forgive yourself for making that wrong decision (Isa 43:18; Luke 6:37; Rom 8:1; 2 Cor 5:17; Phi 4:8)

• Close the door to the curse of death in your generational line (Rom 8:1; Isa 22:2; 1 Cor 15:54-55)

PRAY

• Apply the blood of Jesus over our bloodguilt, declaring that Jesus’ blood speaks a better word–that of mercy and forgiveness! (Gen 4:10; Heb 12:24; 1 John 1:7)

• Intercede for those who’ve been wounded by the injustice of abortion. Ask God to release mercy and healing in our bodies, souls, mind, spirit, and families from the consequence of murder. (Psa 103:1-6; 147:3; 1 John 1:9; Ezek 18:31)

• Pray that those redeemed from the pain of abortion would spring forth free of condemnation, as instruments of healing to others. (Pro 28:13; Deut 30:19; James 5:16; Isa 61)

• Cry out to God for a nationwide release of the fear of the Lord to grant us conviction to true repentance for the sin of abortion (Rom 2:4; 2 Cor 7:10)
