ADOPTION: AN ANSWER TO ABORTION

“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.“you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” – James 1:27; Rom 8:15b

• Worship the Lord, the father to the fatherless, who adopted us as His own children • Repent for our lack of response to God’s call to care for orphans • Pray for a release of the Spirit of Adoption, awakening the Church to her responsibility

to pure and undefiled religion: the care of widows and orphans. • Pray for a tidal wave of new adoptions so sweeping that abortion is no longer in

demand in America.

Day 14 Prayer Focus for Back to Life Walkers 3.30.12

From Back to Life –

EUGENICS: A RACIST AGENDA

“God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.” (Acts 10:34-35) If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.” (James 2:8-9)

• Worship and thank the Lord, our strong deliverer, who commands the life blessing upon us. • Repent on behalf of shepherds within minority communities for not carrying out their

responsibility to deliver the flock from the devouring force of abortion. • Ask God to raise up deliverers; messengers of truth that will expose abortions’ racist eugenic

agenda, igniting righteous indignation and an effective response en masse.

____________________________________________________________________________

WORSHIP

• Worship and thank the Lord, our strong deliverer, who is mighty to save us from destruction (Exo 6:6; Psa 140:7; Luke 1:69; Isa 63:1; Psa 108:13; 109:31; James 4:12)

• Worship God, who is love and who delights in the unity of the brethren and the bond of peace, commanding His blessing of life forevermore (Psa 133; 1 Jn 3:16-17; 4:7-21; Eph 2:14; 4:3-6; Phi 2:3; Gal 3:28)

REPENTANCE

Most abortion clinics are strategically placed in minority neighborhoods. Minority women constitute 36% of all abortions, with 1 in 3 among Latinas and 1 in 2 among African Americans. We are witnessing black genocide; a people targeted for death, currently decreasing at a increasing rate. • We confess and repent for the roots of racism and prejudice that still exist within our own

hearts, which have kept us from rising up to defend and protect others. (1 Pet 3:8-9; Eph

5:1-2, 1 Jn 3:16-17; Gal 5:13) • We repent on behalf of leaders within our community who have not concerned themselves

with the truth concerning the intentional eugenic plans of the abortion industry to eliminate certain groups of people based on the color of their skin (i.e., Negro Project). (Pro 24:11-12; Psa 52:3; Mat 13:13-15)

• We repent on behalf of shepherds within minority communities who have not carried out their responsibility to deliver the flock from the devouring force of abortion. (Pro 24:11-12; Eze 34:2; 8-11; Jude 1:12; John 10:10-12; 21:15)

• We repent on behalf of Church and community leaders who have, through speech or silence, served as pawns of the eugenicists by supporting laws that felonized interracial marriage and encouraged minority families to limit their size through abortion, sterilization or the prohibition of interracial marriage under the guise of “racial integrity” and “responsible family planning”. (1 Jn 1:11; 4:1; 1 Th 5:21; 2 Pet 2:1; Pro 31:8-9, 24:11-12)

PETITION/DECLARATION

• Ask God to release light and truth, issuing a call to conscience across America concerning the swift sickle of racism that is abortion. (Eph 1:17-18; Psa 7:11; Acts 9:18; John 16:13; 2 Pet 2:1)

• Ask God to release a spirit of unity and brotherly love that would cause us to rise up as deliverers for these unsuspecting people groups from the destructive hand of the enemy. (Psa 133; 1 Jn 3:166-17; 4:7-21; Eph 4:3; Phi 2:3)

• Ask God to raise up messengers of truth in mainstream media, church pulpits and community meetings nationwide who will boldly expose the diabolical racist roots and ongoing agenda of the abortion industry, igniting righteous indignation and an effective response from within minority communities en masse. (Est 4:14; Exo 9:16-17; Jer 3:15; Prov 31:8-9; 224:11-12; 1 Jn 3:16-17)

• Ask God for a restoration within the African American and Latino communities in America of the joy, value, and love attributed to having large families. (Mal 2:15; 4:6; Jn 16:21; Psa 115:14-15; 127:3-5; Pro 23:24)

• Pray for the restoration of the womb of the African American and Latina woman as the safest place for a child, eliminating the demand for abortion and sterilization services within these communities. (Tit 2:4; Mal 4:6; Deut 32:11; Jn 16:21; Prov 23:25; 31:2)

• Ignite revival within minority communities nationwide in the power and spirit of Elijah; returning the hearts of the fathers and mothers toward their children. (Mal 4:6; Psa 127:3-5)

In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray. Amen.

• Ask God to burden church leaders to equip the body to be effective agents of change in government and politics, preaching on the importance of Christian involvement in the election and the Bible’s teaching on moral issues, especially the sanctity of human life, marriage, and family (Jer 3:15; 20:9; Acts 4:31; 1 Pe 4:17; Deu 30:15)

• Ask God to compel them to take the time to register to vote, educate themselves, earnestly pray for wisdom and direction on the candidates and issues, share with others, and turn out to vote in righteousness. (Exo 18:21; Phil 1:27)

• Pray that a burden for prayer and intercession will come upon God’s people as the elections approach and abortion legislation comes to the forefront. (Zec 12:10; Jer 33:3; 1 Ti 2:1-8)

• Call forth a church that will no longer sit in apathy and complacency, but who will have the loudest voice in this nation through their vote (John 1:23; 2 Ch 5:14; Rev 19:6)

STANDING AGAINST APATHY

“Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die; save them as they stagger to their death. Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and He sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.” Pro 24:11-12

• Worship and thank Jesus, who is moved by compassion for us, regards the lonely and executes justice for the oppressed.

• Repent personally and on behalf of the American Church for the apathetic posture of our hearts and our hands concerning the injustice of abortion.

• Pray that the Church would rise up against the tide of popular opinion and proclaim God’s truth concerning abortion.

• Pray that Church leaders would join together to trumpet a nationwide call to do justice and practice pure and undefiled religion.

FUELING ABORTION THROUGH SEXUAL IMMORALITY

“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. ” (Revelation 2:20)

WORSHIP Jesus:

• The pure, spotless Lamb of God, who is Holy and calls us to be holy (Isa 6:3; Psa 29:2; 93:5, 99:3, 5, 9; 1 Pet 1:15-19)

• Who makes us slaves to righteousness, leading to holiness; making us instruments for noble purposes (Rom 6:15-19; 2 Tim 2:21)

REPENT on behalf of our nation for:

• The tolerance and prevalence of the sin of sexual immorality (Rev 2:20; 1 John 2:15-17; 1 The 4:2-5; Eph 5:3; Col 3:5; Psa 24:3-4)

• Not taking up responsibility for the consequence of our sin, resulting in many unwanted pregnancies that have ended in abortion (Ps 32:5; 106:37-38; 127:3; 2 Cor 12:21)

• Placing our children in compromising situations and in harms way by allowing curriculum in schools that open the door to promiscuity without concern for the consequences; encouraging them use sex outside of marriage as a form of recreation, without responsibility for procreation. (Psa 1:1-2; Rev 2:20; Isa 5:20)

• Repent for allowing millions of murders of babies each year, rather than give up our sexual sins. (Isa 57:5; Psa 106:37-38; Rom 1:22-25, 28-29)

PRAY:

• For a national awaking to the correlation between sexual immorality and the practice of abortion (Isa 57:5; Ezek 16:20-21, 23:36-37; Acts 26:18)

• For an exposure concerning what is being taught in our children’s schools, and an appropriate response among those in authority (parents, educators, government officials), that includes replacing sex education programs with abstinence education in schools nationwide (Deu 11:18-19; Prov 22:6; Psa 1:1; Isa 54:13-17)

• For a release of the fear of the Lord that causes us to return to Godly morals and Biblical values concerning our sexuality. (Psa 34:11; Pro 1:7; 2 Pet 3:14)

• Cry out for a move of holiness and purity to sweep the young people of this nation (2 Tim 2:22; 1 Tim 4:12; 1 Cor 6:18-19; Phi 2:15)

• Pray that we would take up responsibility for the consequence of our sexual sin and not abort our children conceived out of wedlock (Psa 127:3; Rom 6:19; 2 Tim 2:21)

In Jesusʼ Mighty Name, we pray. Amen.
