Prayer Guide for Day 5 – Wednesday, March 21

REPENTANCE FOR INNOCENT BLOODSHED

“Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning…Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed…” (Gen. 9:5-6) ”Yet even now, return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning…Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing.” (Joel 2:12-14).

• Worship and thank Jesus for shedding His blood to give us abundant life • Thank God for looking for those who would stand in the gap for our nation • Repent for the innocent bloodshed of 54 million babies and the curse we’ve brought

upon our nation through the sin of abortion • Cry out to God for mercy upon America to hold back judgment, remove the curse of

bloodguilt and heal our land

REPENTANCE FOR INNOCENT BLOODSHED

WORSHIP Jesus:

• For shedding His blood to give us abundant life. (John 10:10; Heb 13:12) • For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in

lovingkindness, making available hope for our nation to turn (Joel 2:12-13, Neh 9:31) • Give thanks to God for inviting us to return to Him, with repentant hearts, that He

might show mercy, hold back judgment and bring healing to our hearts and our land

(Joel 2:12-13; 1 Chr 7:14; 1 John 1:8-9) • Thank God for looking for those who would stand in the gap before Him, on behalf of

the nation, that He might not destroy it (Psalm 106:23; Eze 22:30)

REPENT on behalf of our nation:

• For the innocent bloodshed of 54 million aborted babies in our nation (Psa 106:37-40; Jer 14:20-2; Luke 11:50)

• For bringing defilement and invoking judgment upon our land through the shedding of innocent blood (Gen 9:5-6; Num 35:33-34; Lev 17:4; Neh 9:11-12; Jer 18:7-10)

PRAY:

• Declare that there is power in the blood of Jesus to cleanse us of our bloodguilt and atone for the curse of death upon our land (Rom 3:24-25; 1 John 1:8-9)

• As priests unto God, we apply the blood of Jesus–the perfect Lamb–over the innocent blood that’s been shed in our nation (1 Pet 1:18-19, 2:9)

• Cry out to God for mercy upon America, asking God to cleanse innocent bloodshed and remove the curse on our land (Isa 55:7; Pro 28:13)

• Pray for awareness come over this land for the high price we have paid for abortion, resulting in far-sweeping repentance throughout the nation (Ezra 9:6-10; Dan 9:4-19)

JESUSʼ VICTORY OVER DEATH

“In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.” – Col 2:15 “…death has no mastery over Him” – Rom 6:9

• Praise and worship Jesus, who by the cross, triumphed over all rulers, authorities and over death.

• Declare that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood [the abortionists and pro-abortion supporters] but against the rulers, powers, principalities and forces of wickedness in heavenly places.

• Ask God, in Jesusʼ Name, to bind the abortion power and praise and thank Him for leading us in triumph in Christ.

JESUSʼ VICTORY OVER DEATH

WORSHIP Jesus, who:

• Triumphed over sin and death, swallowing it up in victory! Death has no mastery over Him; He holds the keys to death and Hades (Rom 6:9; 1 Cor 15:54-56; Acts 2:24; Isa 25:7-8; Rev 1:17-18).

• Is seated at the right hand of God possessing all authority, power and dominion in heaven and on earth, with all things under His feet (Eph 1:17-23, 2:6; Mat 28:18).

• Disarmed the rulers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Col 2:15).

REPENT:

• For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood [the abortionists and pro-abortion supporters] but against the rulers, powers, principalities and forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12).

• Repent for having wrestled against people in our efforts to protect women and children, instead of enforcing Christʼs victory over the powers of darkness that drive their agendas. (Eph 6:12, Eph 2:2, 1 Peter 3:15).

• Forgive and release those with whom youʼve taken offense and pray that God would use you to bring them to a saving knowledge of Godʼs truth and love. (Luke 6:27-28, 32-36; Pro 16:6-8; 1 Tim 2:4).

PRAY/DECLARE:

• Declare that greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world, so even though we walk through the valley of the death culture of this nation, in the fear of the Lord, we are spared from itʼs snare (Eph 2:5-6 ;1 John 4:4; Psa 23: Pro 14:27).

• Ask God, in the Name of Jesus, by His Blood and through His authority, to bind and rebuke the abortion power, issuing a cease and desist order against all retaliations. (Col 2:15; Jude 1:9).

• Give thanks to God for He leads us in triumph in Christ and manifests through us the fragrance of Christ in every place, and the manifold wisdom of God to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places, causing even our enemies to be at peace with us (2 Cor 2:14-15; Eph 3:10; Pro 16:7, Isa 54:17).

In Jesusʼ Mighty Name, we pray. Amen.
